Academic Discussion and FREE RAMUNTOS PIZZA

We’ll be discussing partisan false beliefs and fake news with

Professor Brendan Nyhan!

How are they acquired? How do they persist? Does fact-checking actually work?

Brendan Nyhan is a Professor in the Government Department at Dartmouth College. His research primarily examines misperceptions in politics and healthcare. His work has been published in many academic journals, as well as popularly in the Columbia Journalism Review and The New York Times. He has been called “one of the most thought-provoking writers about politics on the web.”
