~*~*~*~*~*Fall 50 MILE HIKE*~*~*~*~*~
-------------------October 8th-9th, 2010-------------------

*Four people*53.6 miles*Hanover to Moosilauke*One night*No sleep*

Think you're up for the epic challenge?
Or want to dress up in flair with friends and volunteer to support the hike?

Then come to the:

INFORMATIONAL MEETING: September 29th, Wednesday @ 8:15 pm, Dartmouth Hall 105

**HIKERS be there by 8:15 PM**

**VOLUNTEERS be there at 9 PM**

ALL interested hikers and volunteers MUST come to this meeting!!!

We will explain what the hike is, how hikers are picked, and why volunteering
is such a blast!

------
HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE MEETING:

Get a team together - the 50 is hiked by teams of 3 or 4 people.  So try to
find 2 or 3 other students who you won't mind spending 30 hours with, alone, in
the woods.  Got your team organized?  Good - now think of a clever team name.

And if you don't have enough teammates, don't worry - you should be able to find
a number of willing hikers at the meeting.
------

That's all for now, and feel free to blitz us with any questions!

Your tireless 50 directors,

Malia Reeves, Suzanne Kelson, Ellen Roy
