Calling all foreign-born or international students (Asia, Africa, Canada, Latin America, Europe) to participate in a voluntary medical study with compensation.

Dr. Ford Von Reyn, professor at the Geisel School of Medicine and principal investigator of the study is working on a study at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center to test a new booster vaccine against TB known as DAR-901. Since the vaccine is a booster it is intended for foreign-born persons who received the standard TB vaccine (BCG) at birth.

More information about the study at; https://geiselmed.dartmouth.edu/news/2014/03/19_aeras/

The research team is looking for foreign-born volunteers who are willing to to participate in a 10-month long study and receive 3 doses of this investigational vaccine, have blood tests and 10 visits over 10 months. Volunteers will be compensated for their time with up to 600 dollars, and if you qualify for this study and are interested in participating please contact Shay Vellanki at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> and she will put you in contact with Dr. Von Reyn.
