With exciting theatre!

Have you ever watched West Side Story and thought to yourself, "Man, I love this plot but I could really do without the constant singing and all that ethnic tension."

WELL THEN IT'S YOUR LUCKY DAY!

The Dartmouth Rude Mechanicals present William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet this weekend on the patio behind Sigma Delta sorority!

The classic story of Romeo (horny d00d) and Juliet (quite literally a pre-teen) who "fall in love" (I'm using quotes because like OKAY SURE YOU FALL IN LOVE AFTER SEEING EACH OTHER ONCE I TOTALLY BUY THAT - YOU GUYS JUST WANNA BUMP UGGLIES YOU SLY DOGS YOU). Then there is a Nurse who's all like "NAG NAG NAG" and erryone's parents are all "SCREAM SCREAM YELL YELL" because Capulets and Montagues ain't never gonna be friends. Sorta like Dean Johnson and Phil Hanlon's mustache. I mean, before Hanlon arrived ABC News was all like "DARTMOUTH CANCELS CLASS" and once Hanlon gets here, the Huffington Post will be all like, "LOOK AT THAT GUY'S MUSTACHE OH EM EFFING GEE I WANT TO SMELL IT."

Getting back on track, Romeo and Juliet see each other at a ball and are like OH HELLO U CUTE THANG but everyone else is like NOPE NOT GONNA HAPPEN SOWWY so R&J have to hide their love to a weird priest guy (what a stretch of the imagination #topical) and sing praises on a balcony (featuring the fine architecture of Sigma Delt's roof).

It's gonna be a beautiful weekend. Come out and see one of the greatest love stories ever told.
