Company Info: Seed-funded stealth autonomous vehicle start-up in Silicon Valley. Position is local to Bay Area.



Position: Lead Systems Engineer



1. Strong Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related education background with hands-on abilities working on vehicle systems: low voltage electronics, ECUs, autonomous vehicle computers, sensors (camera, Lidar, radar etc.). Good grasp of control theory and controls tuning (PID) based on existing Drive-by-wire hardware.



2. Fluent in C/C++, python and ubuntu/ROS based systems - position will include writing ROS nodes, short scripts for data manipulation/logging etc.



3. Masters in Engineering preferred but not required. 3-4 years work experience.



4. Extraordinary capability and desire to learn new skills and tools. Ability to apply oneself in new systems integration engineering problems in a dynamic lean start-up environment.
