Nourishing, vibrant, and served without pretension, paella has held a place of honor and practicality in Spanish homes for centuries. Join us for this fun hands-on class at the Co-op Learning Center and learn to make this classic dish with ease. From the proper rice, to using local seasonal ingredients to the perfect crusty socarrat, you will leave confident and full. We will complete the experience with appetizers, simple salad and a wine pairing.

Dartmouth’s Astronomy Department.
Cost: FREE
Starry Night Tour at Shattuck Observatory – have some astronomical fun with McKinley, PhD candidate in Dartmouth’s Astronomy Department. She’ll guide participants through:
* Observe from the telescopes (weather dependent)
* Tour the Historic Shattuck Observatory
* Learn about research being done and ask questions
* Learn how to use Stellarium software (free), which guides amateur observers through the night sky
