I stopped briefly at Kilowatt Park yesterday around noon in hopes of seeing some
of the more unusual waterfowl reported there recently, but without success; only
some (distant) Ring-necked Ducks and Double-crested Cormorants were present.
However, I heard a singing Brown Thrasher, and eventually got a look at it, singing
in the thickety growth between the river and the far end of the playing field.
