Dear all,
We're getting ready for the second year of SWALLT online. If you haven't
participated yet: SWALLT Online is our monthly presentation and subsequent
discussion on topics in the field of language learning and technology.
Especially during these financially difficult times, this is a way to stay
connected and share our latest projects and research.
Currently we are accepting presentation proposals for the 2009/10 academic year.
Presenters do not have to be SWALLT members.
Presenters need to have a webcam and headset. We meet via Adobe Connect Pro, and
we do a technical check and introduction prior to the presentation. No prior
knowledge of Adobe Connect is necessary.
Suitable presentation topics include:
o Technology Integration in the Language Classroom
o Teaching Strategies and Activities for Using Technology in the Language Class
o The Use of Technology in Language Proficiency Assessment
o Language Learning Lab Management and Issues
o Distance & Online Language Learning
o Technology Applications for Teaching At Risk Languages
o Creating Effective Virtual Language Learning Environments and Issues
o Demonstrations of the Use of Technology in Teaching Language and Cultures
o Research in Language Learning and Technology
Please send me an e-mail with a title and a short description of the
presentation:
