It's pretty wonderful for us no matter what level of birder we are. I hope you all don't mind another non-birding post because I would like to share about another way I use the list serv:

I have been reading yesterday and today's posts to my mom, who loves birds and is visiting me this week. She has a memory problem and cannot read very well anymore, but she has enjoyed what I have read to her from your posts to the list serv. Her whole face lights up when I read her your descriptions. She can't remember what she had for lunch, but she knows what a turkey looks like, the flight pattern of a woodpecker, and how an eagle preys on ducks. Thank you for enriching her life.

Misspelt by me & my iPad

Thank you.
