This morning was the first of five Warbler Wednesdays in May that the Mascoma Chapter of NH Audubon sponsored at Boston Lot. It was a beautiful morning, and 10 enthusiastic people showed up for the walk. We found about 26 species:

Canada geese
mallards
common grackles
rock pigeons
mourning doves
yellow rumped warblers
blue jays
black and white warblers
song sparrows
purple finches
black capped chickadees
ovenbird!
dark eyed juncos
pine warblers 
yellow belled sapsuckers
brown headed cowbirds
tree swallows
American robins
eastern phoebe
northern flickers
goldfinches
blue headed vireos
brown creepers
white throated sparrows
ruby crowned kinglet
black throated green warbler
turkey vulture
