Hey everyone,

This afternoon I headed over to Occom Pond and did some bushwacking to search for odonates. Was pretty successful, getting three lifers: see list below, bolded species are lifers. In addition to odes, I also had a few Swamp Sparrows and a couple Common Yellowthroats in the vegetation, and the Osprey was still around.

Dragonflies:
Canada Darner- 2
Great Blue Skimmer- 1
Blue Dasher- 3
White-faced Meadowhawk- Lifer
Autumn Meadowhawk

Damselflies:
Spotted Spreadwing- Lifer
Lyre-tipped Spreadwing- 1 Lifer
Slender Spreadwing
Eastern Forktail- 5
Fragile Forktail- 2

Butterflies:
Pearl Crescent- 1
Monarch

Happy birding,
