A first-ever appearance at my feeders this afternoon was a male E.
Bluebird, which alighted on the ground briefly, then visited a small open
seep in the woods above my house. This was probably the same individual I
saw on Hopson Rd on 12/20,  looking decidedly unhappy in -5F weather - it
seemed much more spry today.

Nice way to end the birding year!
