That's the bird CS. Did a loop this morning, starting in East Thetford
ending up in Union Village. 39 degrees.
Stevens Road produced the gorgeous singing Ea Meadowlark. Savannah Sparrows
and a male Am Kestrel on the wires.
Birds can be found on the driveway down to the equipment (tedders, baler
etc). 1 Barn Swallow
Depo St and RR tracks in Pompy:
2 Gray Catbirds FOY
2 House Wrens FOY
Yellow-rumped Warblers ~25 all "right there"
Palm Warblers 2
Northern Waterthrush...didn't even need my binocs. Sang, bobbed tail.
2 Rc Kinglets
1 Be Kingfisher
1 YS Flicker
Onto Pompy Flats: highlight 1 Greater Yellowlegs full sun.
Pirouette Farm: 2 Savannah Sp, Pine Warbler.
Campbell Flats: (I bird
from the culvert to the river access, then along the road)
Eastern towhee !! great look. No song. FOY
3 Savannah Sp, song, white throats, swamps. Savs right along the road.
2 Eastern Kingbirds..in birch tree along road FOY
1 Warbling Vireo FOY easy to see w/out foliage, and singing.
2 Yellow Warblers
2 Black and White wablers
Yb Saps.
1 Ea Bluebird, Male
Ovenbird east phoebe.both on drive back home.
Ain't it grand !!!
