Just got back from my sister's farm on Jefferson Hill Rd. where we
watched an immature Snowy Owl until dusk. The bird was perched on a log
pile in the middle of her hayfield. After about an hour it flew to a nearby
post. John Andrews and his family saw it and John Vose got some great
photos. The bird was easily seen from the right side of the road before the
T-intersection at the end of Jefferson Hill. The barn and house have bright
red metal roofs. The bird can also be seen from her side yard at 1126
Jefferson Hill Rd. My sister said birders are welcome to try for the bird.
