    With corn harvesting going on at the Billings Farm floodplain, large numbers of several species of grain eaters were present today. A single, somewhat early, Snow Goose passed low overhead in a flock of perhaps 200 Canada geese. Also in numbers were Mallards (80) M. Dove (45) Crow (65). Oddly, a Green Heron was seen flying with some of the crows.
