It's been that kind of a summer.  Everywhere I go a Great Blue Heron jumps
in front of my lens.  I can remember the old days when my wife and I would
canoe for hours hoping to sneak up to one so I could get a decent shot on
slide film. Now with digital it almost seems too easy.

 

The world doesn't really need any more GBH photos, but if you want to see
some taken during July 2014 (plus 5 photos from June) they are here:

All of the photos were taken in the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee region.
