There are 4 of these birds hanging out in our yard in Thetford. I don't
know if they are released game birds of some sort but it seems possible as
they don't look like any grouse-type bird I typically see here. The only
thing in Sibleys that seemed close was a female spruce grouse but I've only
seen males in the mountains, not here.They are pretty tame. They have short
tails and are about a foot in length. Anyone know for sure what they are?
