Ventured north to Lake Morey and Bradford RR Depo.

 

Most birds were at the north end.

 

3 Herring Gulls..mixed plumages.

8 Ring-bills.

2 Bonaparte's Gulls. Spent about 30 minutes watching them. Small. Flew like
a tern/ swallow. Watched them feeding: dabbing at the water (fun).

                                1 was in winter plum.  The other (watched a
lot) was very dark under the wings w/ trailing white edges. All other
characteristics line up with 

the field guides.  At one point the BoGu and the RbGu were right next to
each other.  Nice reference.
