It's another installment in the ongoing survey of bird populations in this recently expanded nature area. We'll gather at the NH Rt. 10 parking area at 6:30 a.m to carpool around to the Lower Grant Brook/River Road trailhead. We'll walk upstream to the snow mobile trail and go a ways into the Conservation Area. Between the Grant Brook outflow wetland, fields abutting its course upstream and Lyme Hill's heavily forested landscape, we should have sufficient habitat diversity to see a good variety of bird species.

The trail will have some uneven footing. Insect repellant and water our recommended.

For more details, reply to this e-mail.

Jointly sponsored by NH Audubon's Mascoma Chapter and the Lyme Conservation Commission.

Blake Allison, Chair
Mascoma Chapter of New Hampshire Audubon
