In Newbury VT.  Off Rt 5, twd the river. Cross the RR tracks to  the ag
land.

 

Was hoping to see Blue-gray Gnatcatcher.  I was not disappointed. A pair.
First birds I saw.  Walked around this floodplain/ ag area, protected as a

  UVLand Trust property.  (site of the phalaropes via Jeff McQueen some
years ago).  AND, they were building a nest.  In a Box Elder, in plain sight
(for now).
