My regular late afternoon walk today in the Tomapo Farm fields resulted in watching a Northern Harrier (female or juvy) surveying the dandelion carpeted hayfield.  The Harrier performed a couple of classic hovers, but no descent that I witnessed. 
 Two male Bobolinks in the same small tree serenading each other. 
  
 Our adopted Ruffed Grouse is still making daily jaunts to check on our yard.
