Just a day after my toddler (with mother) cleaned out the old nest box in the field, we attracted a couple tree swallows. This is in Rices Mills section of Thetford. Hard to think of a more beautiful flyer. Pictures…

PS: That broad wing hawk is still hunting about. We see him every day, so he must have a nest nearby. Only over the weekend we started to see both of them at the same time. Have some (poor quality) pictures of him striking frogs next to the pond up the hill.
