Please join us this Saturday for our annual bald eagle watch at Wilder Dam. In addition to overwintering eagles we'll be searching the open water below the dam for early returning migratory waterfowl such as common and hooded mergansers.

The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. concluding around noon. Come for as little or as long as you like. The event is free and open to the public. It is to be hosted by George Clark and Blake Allison.

Directions: Take US Rt. 5 traveling either south from Norwich or north from Hartford to Depot St. in Wilder Village. Turn onto Depot Street following it one block to Norwich St. Turn left onto Norwich St., and after just a few feet take the right over the railroad tracks. Passumpsic St. is just across the tracks. Take a right onto it and proceed down to the dam's parking areas.
