It seems each year around this time a northern goshawk comes by and loiters for a few days here in Thetford and then moves on. This is the third time I’ve noticed, and I had my camera. The picture is only good enough to identify it. I had better luck with the chipmunks. In walking through the woods I was able to verify there is a bevy of hawk food. Squirrels and chipmunks were out in force.
