Water levels are back down on the Conn. River today, but the waterfowl 
showing was on the light side.

A flock of 120 Bohemian Waxwings was perched on Elm Street near the Norwich post office at 11:30 am.  In Hillside Cemetery, a pair of bluebirds was inspecting a nest box, in which the first bits of base material (mostly white pine needles) have been placed.
