Mark Council and I ventured down to Herrick's Cove and Skitchewaug Meadow
(Springfield Meadow) this morning.

Skitchewaug Meadow is located just north of the Charlestown bridge exit 7,
on Rt.5. the meadow/ corn field is sandwiched between Rt.5 and Old Rt. 5.
Very pretty spot. Some years there is less water.

No GFGoose. Mallards, Blacks, Ring-necks and some Can Geese. Am. Kestrel.

Had Tree Swallows, Fox Sparrow, Northern Flicker, Great Blues, Green-w Teal,
Common and Hooded Mergs. Phoebes at Herrick's.

Always good to be out.
