Three large flocks seen in the last 36 hours. First, around 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning, 40+/- observed flying north towards Lyme's Post Pond. Second, a half hour later, another group numbering 30+/- birds, seen flying up the Connecticut River near the Lyme Bridge. A third flock of 44 individuals was seen Monday afternoon around 2:00 p.m. resting and feeding at Pompy Flats in Norwich.
