I cannot remember a season when I have seen more juncos than this one. Yesterday, driving from Canaan to Lyme on the Grafton Turnpike, I saw a half dozen "flights" ranging from six to twenty. That abundance parallels the situation on the home property, a constant presence over the last few weeks of junco assemblies ranging from the single digits to 35+/-.
