Please join us for a survey of the grounds at the Bedell Bridge State Historic Site in Haverhill. The property offers  an array of different habitats; wetlands, mixed deciduous and coniferous woods as well as ag fields. As a result, the variety of species seen can be extensive.
The walk begins at 7:00 a.m. Participants from the Hanover/Norwich area can carpool from the parking area at the Norwich end of the Ledyard Bridge. The departure time there will be 6:30 a.m. People wishing to drive directly to the site should take NH Rt. 10 north to Haverhill and look for the park entrance on the left about 150 yards passed the Haverhill Green.
The walk is free and open to the public. Bring binoculars and/or a spotting scope as you prefer. All skill levels are welcome. Walking conditions are level traveling over mostly paved surfaces. If there has been recent rain, some of the grass-covered paths may be damp.
Co-leaders are to be Mascoma Chapter Steering Committee members George Clark, Jeff MacQueen and Blake Allison.
