In case you are interested, I posted some photos from a dark and drizzly day
last Sunday taken between Wilder and Newbury, VT and along the river in NH.
Mostly birds, all photographed from quite a distance, but a few of a
favorite subject - moving water - up close. I photographed red-necked
grebes (including several sleeping with their eyes open) at the Wilder boat
launch, a huge flock of green-winged teal at Bailey's Eddy, a crow harassing
a snowy owl in Newbury, wood ducks swimming and flying, common merganser, a
red-tailed hawk flying, a kingfisher, and a pair of eagles guarding their
nest.
