Had a nice time with Chris Rimmer and a flock of 16 +/- birders for our last
Norwich Bird Quest walk. Chris will likely give you the news on that walk.
A big thanks to Chris, Doug and Spencer Hardy and George Clark, and VCE for
providing many enjoyable and educational hours throughout the year on these
monthly walks. Looking forward to more!

After we left Norwich village for home, we went over Bragg Hill and Tucker
Hill in Norwich and saw:

17 Wild Turkeys
13 European Starlings
8 Blue Jays
2 Common Ravens

At home we were greeted with our first flock of Common Redpolls this year
(Saw one, 2 days ago).
26 Redpolls
2 Hairly WP (m+f)
2 Red-breasted Nuthatches (m+f)
2 White-breasted Nuthatches (probably m+f)
9 Chickadees
2 Tufted Titmice

All are regulars here except the Redpolls.

Happy New Year!

Cynthia Crawford Norwich
