Got a great look at a Barred Owl midmorning as I was walking along our
private road to get our mail.
He flew 10 feet to a perch further into the woods and just stared at me for
what seemed like several minutes until a bluejay swooping over the owl's
head and into a nearby tree started alarming the whole woods; the owl then
disappeared toward the fire pond followed by the bluejay!

Gorgeous!
Sue
