Today Ed Hack and I looked for birds from Windsor south to
Springfield, VT. Among highlights were flocks of more than 100 Canada
Geese both at Lake Runnemede and in the Connecticut River at
Springfield Meadows, a pair of Ring-necked Ducks at Lake Runnemede,
small flocks of Common Goldeneyes in two locations on the Connecticut
River including at Springfield Meadows, an immature Double-crested
Cormorant at Mill Pond in Windsor, and a Northern Shrike at
Springfield Meadows.
