In my side yard, I saw an uncommon bird so looked it up in Sibley's. The
closest bird to what I saw was a Lilian's Meadowlark (pg 398-bottom). It
was too muddy looking on its chest to be an Eastern Meadowlark but
definitiely had the streaky coloring.
