A morning walk north to the height-of-land on Sawnee Bean Road beyond the
Thetford-Strafford border revealed a number of wild turkeys working their
way across the fields on the E side and an American Kestrel perched on a
wire just uphill of the red barn. After permitting a good view, he flew W,
uphill across the fields. Beautiful bird!
