So I was on CC from Tuesday night to Saturday afternoon.

I'll just share the list from 2 spots: a barrier beach outside of Hyannis
and from Morris Island, part of the Monomoy NWR, an IBA and a WHSRN (western
hemisphere shorebird reserve network) site.

Mostly the birds were shorebirds..which is a hoot, seeing as we have so few.
100's of Black-bellied Plovers, and 200+ Common Terns and 180 Laughing
Gulls. sitting on a sand bar. 200+ Tree Swallows. Others:

Am. Oystercatchers Least terns Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs
Semipalmated Plovers and Sandpipers Fish Crows Sanderlings
Ruddy Turnstones Great and Snowy Egrets Willets

Osprey S-b Dowitchers Least Sandpipers Piping
Plovers Killdeer Green and Great-blue Herons Mute
Swans Great-BB and Herring Gulls Song Sparrows

Fun stuff !!! all entered on eBird.

Happy fall

BiSh
