Was just about to blitz out excitedly about the same thing!

Up at the beaver pond off of Goose Pond Rd saw a trio of palm warlbers foraging on the trail. Also had a very vocal rusty blackbird, a wood thrush, several grouse drumming around the area, roosting turkeys, and a few other regulars.

Perhaps most importantly, got to see on of the beavers doing some maintenance on the west side of the dam not 10 feet away from me. Super cool.

Best,
Peter

Subject: [UVB] Palm Warblers @ Mink Brook

Hey everyone,

I enjoyed some of the beautiful weather today, walking along parts of Mink Brook this evening. The highlight was finding 3 yellow Palm Warblers in crisp plumage actively foraging on the side of the Quinn Trail, toward the end of it.

Cheers,
Kyle Kittelberger
