A few highlights from the last three days.

Friday:
A small falcon on River Rd. near Wilmot Lane. When sighted, it was perched on a telephone line. That with the carriage of its wings suggested kestrel but lighting and lack of binoculars made a certain ID impossible.

150+/- crows seen in a grove of trees opposite Recordridge Lane on E. Thetford Rd.

Saturday
A coopers hawk flushed from tree in feeder area confirmed suspiscion about why there had been so little feeding activity during day.

Sunday
21 wild turkeys in a field along side Dogford Rd. in Hanover.

80+/- american crows in field near where crows were seen Friday.

44 mourning doves at home feeders this morning eclipsing previous record 41.
