Friend: The, "Destroying Angel." Amanita virosa. is poisonous to humans if eaten. The toxins destroy the liver, and recovery is unlikely without a liver transplant. I have never heard of toxicity by inhalation. It's a beautiful mushroom, look but don't injest. It's ok to pick it and handle it, just don't get any into your digestive system. Michael.

Chris,
do you have any info on the avenging angle mushroom more than they are extremely
poisonous. When I was much younger, I learned that even inhaling the spores was
very dangerous, but I can not find any of that kind of info on internet - just
very poisonous. We have many at the barn where I keep my horses and I am the only
one totally neurotic about their presence?
Jean
Not much happening around here, except the birds are starving and eating accordingly.
