Hey triathletes!


Today was our last spin of the term 😢. But there are still a few fun things to look forward to!

SUNDAY: INDOOR TRI @ the gym @9am & ALL-TEAM BRUNCH @ Paganucci Lounge (Foco) @ 11:15am

Even if you didn't sign up for the indoor tri, feel free to come and cheer and please join us for brunch! If you ordered gear, we will be giving it out at the brunch!!

Indoor Tri Schedule

9:00 Gym Opens
9:05 Meet at Pool, ready to go (Both waves)
9:10 Swim warm-up (Wave 1)
9:15 Wave 1 starts swim
9:35 Wave 2 starts swim
11ish Both waves are done with the race!

Details

Swim starts:  600 yards or 12 laps (24 lengths). There is a 15 minute time limit for each swimmer. If you have not completed the 600 yards in 15 minutes, we will notify you that you can get out of the water and proceed to the spin room. Wave 2 can warm up as lanes become available.

Upon completion of the swim notify the timers and give them your last name, dry off, change clothes if needed, etc. and transition to the spin room as quickly and safely as possible. When entering the bike room give the timers your last name.

The bike will be 9 miles long. Bike timing starts when you start pedaling and ends when you stop. Stop when the bike odometer hits 9 miles. Bring water bottles to the spin room if you need to hydrate. When bike leg is done, head outside, down the steps and start the run. Notify the timers of your last name. When you finish the run, again make sure the timers get your last name. Timers will be at the bottom of the steps.

The run course is below,  3 laps. No crossing traffic. Out of gym, diagonally out to East Wheelock/Crosby intersection, left on Crosby, left on Lebanon St, left on Summer St, left on S Park, left on E Wheelock, left diagonally to finish at gym steps. 3 laps of the course is roughly 2.7 miles, slightly less than a 5K.
