I was just wondering if there was anyone who might be able to replace me for the May 10 swim portion of the triathlon. I was talking with my PT and he was telling me to dial back the swimming for a couple weeks since my shoulders are quite beaten up and need to recover.

I don't know what the outcome will be but the rest of my relay teams ability to compete and win should not hinge on my shoulders health. I’m happy to race should I need to. However, for the sake of being able to compete for another 2 years/the rest of my life, I’d appreciate being able to sit this one out. The registration is already paid, so you should be good on that front if that’s a concern.

Cheers,
Ned
