In honor of Native American Heritage Month, join Dr. Jus Crea Giammarino for a plant identification walk at the Dartmouth Organic Farm Thursday, November 9, at 12:15 pm. Dr. Jus Crea, who is Penobscot, teaches about Native American Herbology and practices Naturopathic Medicine. She is also giving a talk called “Food Sovereignty and Mental Health” and hosting a medicine making workshop on Wednesday, November 8th. 

Geisel’s Office for Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement and Dartmouth Sustainability are teaming up for this event. Transportation is available and will leave Hanover (specific location to be determined + communicated with everyone who signs up) at 12:15 pm on Thursday before returning around 1:15. Sandwiches will be provided.
