I'm rather late to this but have you looked at FMPro Migrator?  <http://
www.fmpromigrator.com/>

Priced at $200US you may find it cheaper than going the VMWare/WinXP/
Access route if you are unable to persuade the owner to submit in tab-
delimited format.

You can download a limited trial, so it may be worth a look.
