Hi folks,
Hannah Hoffman ’20, has shared this opportunity. For someone with a strong background/experience and interest in biology and life sciences this could be a fantastic opportunity to work within the Broad Institute, renowned for it’s life science research.

All the best to all,
Your HPP Team

Subject: Research associate opportunity at Harvard/MIT

Hi Sarah,

I hope this email finds you well! My team at Harvard/MIT is looking for a new research associate, and I'd love to see if any Dartmouth students are interested in applying. Would you mind forwarding the following message to pre-health '21s?

Thank you very much!
Hannah

Hi everyone,

My team at Harvard/MIT is looking to hire a research associate with a strong biology background and interest in the life sciences. Your primary mentor would be Dr. William Hwang, graduate of Harvard’s MD/PhD program, clinical faculty member at Harvard/MGH, and postdoctoral fellow in Tyler Jacks' and Aviv Regev's labs.

Most of Dr. Hwang’s projects revolve around pancreatic cancer, a devastating disease in need of greater study and therapeutic interventions. Our research utilizes single-cell/spatial -omics and CRISPR genetic screen techniques, which we apply to both patient specimens and mouse models. The work is highly interdisciplinary and cutting-edge, providing opportunities to work at the nexus of surgery, radiation oncology, wet lab, and dry lab. Research associates can explore a broad array of projects that suit their interests, with the option to co-author and even lead impactful studies for the field.

Please reach out to me, Dr. Hwang's current research associate, at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> for more info on the application process. I'd also be happy to answer any questions you might have about our team.

Thanks so much — we look forward to hearing from you!

Best wishes,
Hannah Hoffman
