Subject: Clinical Data Science Job Opportunity

Hi Sarah and Valerie,

Hope you're doing well! I'm working in the Radiation Oncology department at Oregon Health and Science University. A great physician (AND Dartmouth alum) who is cross appointed to the Portland Veterans Affairs hospital and OHSU is looking to hire a data science oriented 2018 grad. The research job blurb is attached, but in short, it would need to be someone with CS and biology experience. Knowing how to code in SQL, R, and Python is needed. The position falls in the Clinical Data Science Research Group.

Reid is doing some of the really exciting work in this area, and really pushing the VA/OHSU to improve on clinical data science. He's also a great guy and I think anyone working for him would learn a lot. This is a 2 year, preferred, appointment.
