Here is a posting shared by Dartmouth ’17, Paul Gudmundsson about a position(s) at the Milan Lab at MGH in Boston. Note, they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, but believe they will have another position for starting in the summer as well!
All the best,
Your HPP Team!

Subject: MGH Research Technician Job

Hi Ms. Berger,
I work in Dr. David Milan's lab in the Cardiovascular Research Center at Mass General Hospital. We are looking for a full time lab technician to learn cell culture techniques and take responsibility of culture maintenance and differentiation. A more in-depth description of the position is included below. I have really enjoyed working in David's lab since graduating last June. The work environment is great and highly conducive to pre-meds who are looking to expand their research experience before applying to medical school. Each of the three last persons in this position were Dartmouth graduates who were accepted into medical school during their tenure here.
Please take a look at the info below and email your resume to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> if you are interested! We are looking for someone to start ASAP, but will likely have a second job opening this summer, so if you are a soon-to-be grad feel free to apply as well.
GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
Dr. David Milan’s lab at the MGH Cardiovascular Research Center has an opening for a highly motivated individual with an undergraduate science degree and an interest in medical research. The goal of our laboratory work is to use genetics to elucidate the molecular basis underlying abnormalities of the heart rhythm and heart function. Many of our current studies use stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes as models for human heart electrophysiology. We combine in-vitro modeling with state-of-the art techniques like CRISPR genome editing to study genetic factors associated with diseases like atrial fibrillation and long QT syndrome.
