My name is Kelsey Nibbelin and I am writing to you about an opportunity for your health professions students in our Clinical Informatics Specialist/Scribe Program at Oak Street Health.
One of your former students, Paola Cazares, actually currently works as a scribe with us and thought your students would be interested in hearing about our program.

What do we offer you?
Our Clinical Informatics Specialist/Scribe program offers students who are interested in the health professions to gain real exposure to patient care in an innovative model prior to attending medical/PA/NP school. Open positions are posted in February and the interview process spans March-May. Ideal candidates are able to start within the April-August timeframe. This past year, we hired 50+ new Clinical Informatics Specialists and predict to double that number in this spring/summer.
Our program partners with Sylvia Robertson of Robertson Premedical Advising to ensure that we provide our CISs the highest quality support and mentorship throughout their time at OSH. One aspect of Oak Street Health’s mission is that we are dedicated to helping all employees reach their professional goals. This is a priority for our company as we work with your students. In the past year our CISs have matriculated in outstanding medical schools, nursing programs and physician assistant programs.
