My Swapfile Watcher puts up a dialog and logs to a file.
Is there any way to "disconnect" the dialog and continue, instead of
being blocked by it? Would I need a separate "helper app" to display
the dialogs?
This is for OS X. Is there any other "service" (BSD, Perl, whatever)
which might serve the purpose?

thanks,
-boo
