Thanks, everybody, for the encouragement. AppleEventExample never did 
run, but I have gotten the old syntax to work. Had to mess around 
with WebSTAR's CGI settings and suffix mappings. (Curious, BTW., that 
the mime type for a compiled Applescript application is "text/plain.")
