--------------
The California Virtual Campus (CVC) was established in July 1999, to support
the development and delivery of online learning in higher education
throughout the state of California.
The five regional and statewide CVC centers assist faculty, staff,
administration, and institutions in the development of online courses,
programs, policy, and planning, focusing on the particular needs of
California community colleges.
As successor to the California Virtual University, CVC also hosts and
maintains the Online Catalog of Distance Learning at WWW.CVC.EDU. This
catalog is the most comprehensive online listing of distributive education
offered by regionally-accredited California colleges and universities.
